Chapter 6:
I would chose to use technology in my classroom but the technology I would use in my classroom would be limited. I would not want to see my students on their laptops or ipads when I am teaching a lesson, unless the lesson required the students to be using the laptops or ipads. I feel as if they would be very helpful with class lessons but they would also be more distracting to some students, so I would want to limit the use of this technology. I would use a projectors and a smart board. With a projector and smart board, this is used strictly for education. These are educational tools that help the students learn without becoming a distraction to the class.Chapter 11:
Audio and Visual technology in the classroom is a great tool for learning . It gives the students another perspective on the topic. With visual technology you can show the students films, or pictures to help understand what is happening. For history classes sometimes pictures and films are easier to understand than reading a chapter. It helps the student get a idea of what is actually going on. With audio technologies in the classroom you can use cd's and sometimes music to better learn the topic. Just another helpful tool for students to have access to.
